Hi ,
I'm looking for a simplified drawing of Scottish pipes to use for a tattoo design. My lawyer friend got a Celtic knotwork arm band with a harp worked into it that I designed, to celebrate his 50th birthday in October. He loves it so much he wants another on the other arm. But he wants the bagpipes worked into it instead of the harp. Anyone out who can point me to a design soon? We're supposed to do it tomorrow night.
(Samhain is his favorite holiday).

Oh, that's kind of a tough one to search for online, Bekki. Everytime I tell google to look for bagpipe tattoo, of course I get something about some performance of a tattoo!:-)

You might look among these vendors for some artwork for other stuff. maybe one of them will have something likely: please click here.

Take any one of these designs......run thru adobe, even the home version will work, and posterize it. Or cartoon it. Either one will give a good tattoo artist something to work with

check out the Bagpipe Societies web site or the Lowland and Border Pipers Society website (blue clicky thing not working or their site is temp down)do a search for either society they have some great links and useful graphics

If youre still having problems, try a picture of an octopus and make the bag bit tartan.

I did a search for a bagpipe tattoo-I found one but I can't tell you were she had it.
