Probably not a spectacular as this year's (or last year's) special Leonids or even last summer's special Perseids, but, hey, how often do you get to see meteor showers? (Where I live, it's rare, because it's often clouded over. Obviously not Kansas.)

It seems to always cloud up when the meteor showers are predicted.

I was just discussing that phenomenon with someone today. It's amazing how often overcast weather seems to correspond with astronomical events. Do you think it's a plot?

Raining like crazy here in DC through Sunday from what I hear. I don't think I'll get around to driving hundreds of miles to find clear skies. Bummer!

Clear and warm here. It will be about 30 degrees tonight, that will make for good watching. (Northern MN) Thanks for reminding me.

I saw a bit of the Perseid showers but it's cloudy tonight with a storm moving in. No chance...

Hi to all :)

I've seen about 11 meteors on 14 Dec (GMT +8) in Singapore. Of which, one is a big yellow fireball! :) As big as the moon. Must be very close I guess. :)

Well, the other that worth a mention is a blue trail :)

At the least, you know that Geminids are alive! :)

I have but I will still stand out tonight while it's clear and hope for the best...If there are any left to see before it clouds over again.
