Subject: Information on guitar-making and repair? From: Jerry Friedman Date: 25 Jun 98 - 11:43 AM A friend of a friend is looking for classes anywhere in the U. S., maybe at community colleges, on making and repairing stringed instruments. I think he's particularly interested in guitars. Can anyone help out? On his behalf, thanks in advance! |

Date: 25 Jun 98 - 11:53 AM Try going to The musicians and Instrument Maker's forum and either checking out their links page or posting your query. There's a four year violin making school in Salt Lake City, Peter Paul Prier & Sons. I don't know if they offer single classes or if they require you to register full time. |
