Rhymin' Simon wants to know if Numeralla festival has been affected by the bushfires. I think he wants to go in the next day or two, so I hope somebody in our part of Australia knows if it is still on.

Hi Christina,

I was talking to Simon tonight since I posted, and gave him a couple of numbers I dug up.

It sounds like he's unlikely to go now. It's awfully close to the fires, the weather is going to be very hot, and they are short of water - not enough for showers.

He's seriously thinking of staying home and just going to Woy Woy on Sunday. That's where I'll be going.

It would still be interesting to know, though, in case anyone else is interested. Are you and Mig going?

According to the Numeralla organisers the festival is still on.
