Subject: Tune Req: French Canadian Music (instrumental) From: koolkatkiwi Date: 27 Jan 03 - 03:55 PM Hi Mudcatters! Mudcat Cafe is great for lyrics of songs. Is there a forum anywhere for instrumental music, that gives notation and/or midi files for instrumental tunes of different cultures? I'm specifically looking for French Canadian instrumental music, such as the group "Matapat" from Quebec plays. Cheers, Kath from NZ |

I think it's available through Mel Bay, and there is a CD also available (which I don't have). Right now i'm on vacation in Costa Rica and can't give you any maor information about the book, but as a fiddle player I've really enjoyed it immensely. |
