Subject: Tune Req: Trip to Fowey From: Ed. Date: 08 Feb 03 - 08:50 AM The version at JC's ABC tune finder only has the first two bars, as do the two other copies I've found on the web. Apparently it's available in Wm Mittell His Book - 1799 New Romney, Kent If anyone has a copy of the book and could provide me with a scan or midi, abc etc. I'd be most grateful. Thanks, Ed |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: Trip to Fowey From: Kernow John Date: 11 Feb 03 - 12:10 PM Ed I've searched through RACCA which list most Cornish tunes (old and new) but there is no mention. Of course it could have been written by someone outside Cornwall. Have you searched for Trip to Foy as you probably know that's how it is pronounced? I'll ask around at a Cornish session I'm going to on Saturday. John |
