Need Lyrics, Title, Artist to song from 60s or 70s. One line in song is, "time, oh time, where did you go? Time, oh good good time, where did you go?" (Also, time, oh sweet, sweet time, where did you go?"

Ah, what a temptress this one is. My vague memory suggests the Pozo Seco Singers from the late 60's. Certainly someone will get this one for you. The verses went something like this.

Some people never ....., some never give,

Some people never ......, and some never live.

I don't have time to pursue my only Poze Seco vinyl, but if no one else posts, I'll be back.

I am surprised no one else has come up with this song. It was a 'hit' for the Pozo-Seco singers. It was the title for the first album "Time" on Columbia CS 9315. I have their follow-up album "I Can Make It With You." A point of interest: one member of this trio was Donnie Williams (so say the liner notes). Many of you will know him as the country singer/songwriters, Don Williams. Quite a mellow dude. I will try an internet search now that I have more information and the official song title "Time".

I am intrigued at the prospect of digging up this memory. I strongly suspect that some Mudcatter had this song in his or her repertoire during high school or college.

I have worn out my mouse hand searching the web. No lyrics have I found. You can purchase a CD by the Pozo-Seco Singers with their first two albums on it (including of course the song "Time"). Check musicstrip.com or cdnow.com. Just search for Pozo Seco and it should come right up for you.

If you get the CD and the lyrics, post them back here on the Mudcat. My interest has been piqued.
