Seeing bbc's birthday thread reminded me that we've missed a bunch of birthdays this month and probably last month, too. So, at least for March, I am posting them here and would like to wish all of those past a belated Happy Birthday and all of those coming up a Happy Birthday. Happy b-day Doug, and other march hare mad catters. My wife's was the tenth also. I turned 40 somewhere in there myself. It's also a good time for new year, I think. Spring feels like a new year to me.

The interupting cow doesn't snap in print, but it's great aloud. Like, What do you call a deer with no eyes? No-eye-deer.

By pure coincidence, today is not the anniversary of the birth of Horatio Nelson,
and to celebrate, I shall be at my local downing a few pints of real ale.
It is also not the birthday of several other notables (scary huh?) so it should turn out to be quite a party.

Mine was the 13th - unlucky for some - but not for me. My friend Liz was on the 14th, so I wrote a song for us both "We are the Birthday Girls". Sang it at a session on the 17th and it turned out 2 more March "Birthday Girls" were there, so I had to go back and write 2 more verses!
Did you also Know that the time between Xmas and Easter is known as the "gifting season"? First there's Valentine's day, then birthdays, then Mother's day, then Easter eggs. My kids are complaining they're skint!
