Great song, been doing for couple of years solo, trying to get wife to add moody concertina solo. Friend now has acoustic bass so that will go on to.

I'm playing drop D top and bottom and capo 2 starting on Am so I reckon chords are similar. Took a while to realise major7 chord that leads into chorus, big range to sing quietly!

Listen closely, there is a hammer-on on the d, and several other sussed chords throughout on the a, the e, and even the b- (not sure on that one). He plays the e differently on each of the verses. Thank you for the roots of the chords. Now all i need is for a guy to play the solos and it will sound great.

I figured this out from scratch and agree with Michael's chords. Only add-on is I like to suspend that F# chord (E with capo) before going to the Bm (Am with capo).
