Subject: Version of Lowlands From: GUEST,Davetnova Date: 03 Apr 03 - 09:12 AM While tidying up on my work Pc I came across a bunch of MP3s that I downloaded last year. One of them is a version of lowlands, sung by a lady with banjo and cello accompaniment, it is beautiful but I have no idea who it is. The only clues that i can come up with are that the mp3 is dated 20/06/02 and among the others stored with it is one called make me a pallet Rick Mike Feb 18 02. I have a feeling that a mudcatter invited people to listen to them before releasing them on CD but my memory is getting poor. Can anyone help? |
Subject: RE: Version of Lowlands From: Anglo Date: 03 Apr 03 - 10:36 AM Banjo and cello suggests it might be our good friends Mary Humphreys and Anahata (Treewind on Mudcat, I believe). That's if you're in England, anyway. Check their webpage here . There are sound samples you can compare. |
