I was given information about "The 21st Annual Summer Solstice Folk Music, Dance & Storytelling Festival" presented by the California Traditional Music Society. I'm making vacation plans, and was wondering if anyone on the Mudcat has ever attended and can give some information about this event.

where in calif? must be down south-i never heard of it in the north.
though the san francisco free folk music fest. usually happens around

San Fran free folk fest is 21-23 june this year,see the web site atsffmc.org

They've got quite a list of performers, but the only ones I've heard of are Joe Derrane (accordionist), Kim Robertson (harper) and Bill Staines (singer-songwriter). Looks like a workshop- oriented, rather than performance-oriented festival.
