I'm looking for lyrics to a song in gaelic that I believe is called 'Sean Bhan'. I can't find it anywhere. Also, if anyone has lyrics to 'An Cailin Ban' or 'Bean Phaidin', I'm looking for those too. Thanks! Maelgwyn

If it's Sean Bhain, I can get you the translation of the lyrics, but I don't have the Gaelic. Sorry!

A translation would be great. If I knew what they were saying in english it would make it easier to figure out some of the gaelic. Go raibh maith 'ad!

sorry, don't have those, but you may want to look in soodlums selection of irish ballads, or a book called pale rainbow. I didn't see those titles, but they do have some songs in gaelic. Aonarrach

I am looking for the lyrics of the song called SUO GAN I can not find it on the net. It is a celtic lullaby I suppose it is irish gaelic

The song was also featured in the film "Empire of the rising Sun" I believe.

Bhan means 'fair', Mor means 'big' :)

Hi, here's something that might fit the bill, to begin with, the first of five verses in the English of the song The Sean-Bhean Bhocht.
