Just a reminder that I will be running my regular "Last Sunday of the Month" session at the Sun Inn, Beverley this coming Sunday 27th April from 4pm ish. As usual, the landlord will be buying the first pint for all players and singers.

As it is my last day before flying the USA on monday 28th for three weeks, it would be nice to see all the regulars there as well as anyone new - missing you already.

I was sorry to miss the PTH gig at the Sun last Sunday - I hear that it was a stormer and that the pub was heaving all day: I had a load of work to finish off and didn't get clear until Monday afternoon :-(

My cup overflows with joy - yourself, Les&Maggie and Pete all in the same place. No Ossonflags, though, as he will be in Ireland.

Quite a few of the Tuesday night crew will be in too (Tom etc) so it should be a good session.

I'm glad you picked up on that reference. The reason I use "The Sun Sessions" on all our publicity was precisely that but no-one had seen it (or commented on it) before.

Incidentally our "last Sunday of the month" session this coming weekend will be the farewell to Sheila our excellent bar person - she is moving to Manchester.

As she is of the Scottish persuasion perhaps sessioneers who intend to be there on Sunday could think of something Scots to sing
