I stopped all public internet posting of originals
but I am delighted to email on an individual basis to good folks like yourself. Ask Rap, my emails or mailings can be trusted.
Just tell me where by PM.

The last double translucent silk picture of "subspace" defied photography but 2D ink is fine. Pictures on glass with a mirror behind that reflects a different image is also hard to photograph.

(example: hummingbird painting that has a leaping dancer painted on the other side of the glass masked by the humming bird. This genre can contrast fanciful ideas or a person's 'inner self') Infinity light boxes are another version that can contain painted or photographic surprises. These things only take a few days.

The big stuff is slow going however.

No, Pat's surgery will NOT be today. After a long chain of CYA and miscommunication and "blame somebody else" by the hospital, it has been moved to it's "original" date of April 13. To say that she is furiously, lividly, angry would be an understatement.

Her family motto is "Nolo Irritare Leones."

"Piss off your spouse, piss off your kids, piss off your minister, piss off your boss, but never, ever, piss off a lawyer."

Hi, Mom! I just ran my nuts through a sieve! Okay, it was really a colander, not a sieve. A metal thing with a bunch of 3/16" holes in it. If you put your nuts in it and shake them around, all the small broken pieces and little flakes of red peanut skin fall through the holes and you're left with nice clean nuts.

Lawyers gone bad are like cruel corrupt cops. What other occupation excels in the practice of spite and vengeance with a license to lie, cheat and steal? This is how they measure success.

It figures that there are more Republican former prosecutors in Congress by over a 1/3 compared to Democrats.

If I find a good honest lawyer I won't keep it a secret.

Chongo doesn't like lawyers much either...except for Renata, his girlfriend.

Ah, yes. Renata. First an LL.B. and then a J.D. Loose Living Bimbo and a Juvenile Defendant.

I met girls like that when I was a lad. Got caught up with a couple of them. Well, I caught sommat. But, they have meds for that. I remember one lass in particular. Nain, Labrador. Innu. Beautiful. My Dog she was gorgeous. Melt you with her smile. She was fun. And, then, she wasn't.... 'pissin' razor blades' comes to mind.

TMI? Ha! These are the stories that make men... ah... well... stupid, I guess.

Haven't heard any updates about "someone's second interview for a job...."   I guess if the news had been good, we would have heard it. Better keep thinking positive.

Job? Isn't he somebody in the Old Testament? Got puked up by a whale or something? No, that was Jo Nah. Job was the guy like gnu, with the diseases. Yeah, he had diseases and lost his home in the Big Recession and all his money and investments and stuff, and when he asked, "Why, God?" he got the reply, "Because you piss Me off." Or was that Zeke L? I can't keep them OT characters straight. But I am reminded of a poem:

An archeologist hailing from Throssil
Found a very peculiar fossil.
He could tell by the bend
And the knob at the end
'Twas the peter of Paul the Apostle.

Thanks for asking - it didn't take. But that someone's search continues. . . The second party was on a fishing expedition and it was never clear what she was fishing for.

Amos, good luck with the upcoming eye adjustment. I suspect I will have something like that in the middle-distance future. And I hope Pat's rescheduled event goes smoothly and as planned. Last time I was in for surgery (a bunionectomy) I was asked to draw on my right foot with a ball-point pen to indicate the correct place for surgery. Just so they don't ask you to write a treatise on how to perform the surgery.

I was bored while waiting for the salt fish to boil so I read the recipe on the Shoal Water Seafoods package. "Form mixture into cakes or patties, approximately 2 tablespoon per cake." WTF? WTF? Seriously, W.T.F!? TWO TABLESPOONS!? Now, I have never measured but mine gotta be ten, minimum. Near the size of a baseball before I flattens 'em. Two a my fishcakes an' yer blood pressure goes up 10+ points. Two tablespoons? Who ever heard a that? Bluenosers they be! Outta Digby across The Bay. Nowt ever would a Herring Choker serve up "one bite" fishcakes. They must have big spoons.

The guy who wrote that fish cake recipe must be the same one who decided a 24 ounce can of ground coffee will make 210 cups. The only way to get 210 cups of coffee from it is to use a thimble for a coffee mug. Real coffee drinkers use at least a 12 ounce mug and real fish cake eaters make fish cakes, not fish snacks.

Here's a great tradition recipe for fish cakes! You'll love it!

Dette trenger du
500 gram fiskefilet uten skinn og ben
1 spiseskje potetmel
1 egg

The joys of my new life continue to abound. :ast night we went to a bonfire in Dani's back yard and shot the breeze for several hours, nibbling roasted marshmallows and watching the juveniles use the roasting sticks as dueling sabers. Haha! All fun and games until someone loses an eye, but no one did. Tonight we dined al fresco at Ixtapa -- a genuinely Mexican Mexican restaurant hidden just past our quaoint downtown area.

The might Eno, swollen by recent rains, is marching more rapidly down the Neue River Basin toward the Chespeake and the Atlantic. Cardinals have begun doing thier fevered mating ritual and blooms keep popping up on every hand--iris, jonquils, daffodils, and a score of unnamed beauties. Spring in North Carolina is extremely vivid, celebratory, vital and vibrant.

Sunday I played bluegrass with a few of the boys at the local pub for several hours, most enjoyably.

Life is just one blessed thing after another around here, I tell ya.

I believe I have solved the mystery of gnu's two tablespoon fish cake recipe. Gnu is Canadian, and Canada uses the metric system. So, there are no tablespoons in Canada! TBSP doesn't mean tablespoon. It means tremendously big sumbitchin' patty, which is exactly what fish cakes are supposed to be.

According to Guinness:

The world's largest fishcake was made by ASDA and Young's Bluecrest weighing 36.65 kg (80.79 lb) and was displayed at the ASDA supermarket, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, UK on 9 October 2003. The width of the fishcake was 8.7 m (28.54 ft) and the height was 8.7 cm (3.42 in).

England holds the record. Canada isn't even ranked.

Tonight I played a set to open for tyhe remarkable American song-bird Mr Roy Zommerman. Purely ferocious. Catch some of his pieces here, for example. It was an honor to contribute to this guy.

Piffle and pish-tush, Amos. You, of all people, should know that I am the True Fountain of all knowledge and wisdom. I am the Omega Point of which de Chardin wrote, the epitome of McLuhan's Global Village, the ultimate of which humanity is capable, complete in perfection. Shakespeare was writing about me when he wrote, "What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals!" But do not fret, for I will impart unto you whatever drips of knowledge and wisdom you are capable of understanding.

Me? Did I live for more than a few days in Sandy Ego, California? NO! Everyone knows that only the most rabid, rigid, rightists live there. Some, when the winds begin to shift, move to a somewhat less rigorous place where they can pass for "liberal." Myself, I live in a place where it's unnecessary to bow to the winds of change because here in Idaho it's always 1917, except the trains don't run.
