FOLK AT THE DOME CONCERTS
Plymouth Dome, Hoe Road, Plymouth, Devon UK

The first in a new series of Folk at the Dome starts this week at Plymouth Dome with a visit by a well-loved act from the UK acoustic circuit. Mick Ryan and Pete Harris have been delighting audiences for many years with their well-crafted songs and a style which wins them new fans wherever they go. Their music ranges from sensitive ballads, to upbeat and comic numbers and Mick's stunning voice is accompanied to great effect by multi-instrumentalist, Pete Harris. This concert is tonight. Glad to see the only one who appears to have noticed it is me. That way I'll get a front row seat. Not paying the band all by myself though!!!

If the fabulous music of Mick & Pete doesn't 'get' people the venue certainly will. A huge glass dome, with a living ceiling where you can see clouds sailing accross the sky, watch the sun set and boats head out over the sound and of couse, the best bit, get a birds eye view of seagulls' undercarriages as they perch on the roof.

Not to everyone's taste, for sure!!!
