You'll have to get in quick, m'lass. This morning's bottom-of-front-page story in The Sydney Morning Herald starts:

"With global obesity levels rising, the food manufacturer Kraft has announced it will limit portion sizes and reduce the amount of sugar and fat in its products.

The move by the maker of ... Vegemite, Philadelphia cheese, Nabisco crackers, Oreo biscuits and Toblerone chocolate could help stave off legal action by overweight people."

So you do have some chocolate to serenade them for ... but not for too long, it seems!

I take my hat off to their pr dept. This is truely an amazing marketing ploy: put less in the packet and tell the customer this is not the company short changing you but that they are doing it to improve the customer's health! I may be being a little cynical but I sincerely doubt that they will reduce the packet prices in proportion to the reduction in contents.

Ah, but Liz you have the advantage of being able to read the currants on sticks. And my repetoire meerly reflects my love of certain chanteuse ( was I even close with that spelling?)

On the other burning issue, if it's got cocoa butter in it and other things in the usual manner, then it's chocolate good enough for me. In fact I can't really take real chocolate, I may loose my place in the Inscrutable Chapter of Cocoa Devourers for this...............
