Oy, Mate; sounds like fun!

We (Third Maine Volunteers - Co. "A" Infantry and Regimental Field Music Third Maine Volunteers ) are committed to a Living History encampment and parade in Wilton, Maine this weekend - but thanks for the notification!

I've posted these links before, but for any who are interested in this sort of thing, I invite you to peruse...

And for a rip-snortin' good CW period Banjer, see:

Enjoy!

Mebbie next year we'll see ye out there, eh?

Hey Uncle Jacque:

This gig is basically a string band and acoustic musician gathering - although I think that there is one field music group expected this year. George Wunderlich (of the banjo company) is actually the keynote presenter this year. Last year it was Prof. E. Lawrence Abel who authored, "Singing the New Nation."

Hope you have a great event in the beautiful state of Maine.

Bye,
Fag an Bealac
