This is a take of a song by Scottish troubador Alex campbell, called the Apprentice's Song. Dunno where y'd find a recording.

Bob beat me to it Alex wrote some good stuff but he was not quite as clever a writer as Ian . And He did tend to borrow tunes. Lovely man though and a sad loss when he died.I stole Band played Waltzing Matilda from Alex WAY back then !!
