In searching Google for Midi Hymns, I came upon one that also featured favorite Irish, Scot, English, American etc. songs, Christmas music, lullabies, and the list goes on. The name associated with it was (I believe) Mary Tipton. I lost it and cant't find it again. Google has 25-odd pages and I still can't find it. Is it lost forever in cyberspace or can anyone direct me? Thank you.
Sheila

Just guessing, but maybe Contemplator.com is somehow related?

My God!!! You folks are the absolute BEST! This was it. While you're here, how can I track down the beautiful song Barry Taylor wrote in memory of his relatives sailing to Canada? You are both in my prayers tonight, for sure. Thank you again.

Sheila, you will nearly always have better results if you make your requests on separate threads. By the way, if you were to become a member, you could send a message to Barry T yourself. He is a member of Mudcat.

Well, Sheila, in one short evening you have found both Mary and me. Mary in Kentucky = Mary Tipton, and Barry T = Barry Taylor.

You made my night when you asked about An Emigrant's Daughter. It's on the Irish page on Mary's site, or over here on my own...
http://members.shaw.ca/tunebook/emigdau.htm. A new addition on my site is the notation with lyrics; this should help singers with the phrasing... http://members.shaw.ca/tunebook/emigdau.pdf

Mary, I never knew about your site! You have done a LOT of work. Brava!

Barry, the new notation with lyrics is terrific. Thanks for pointing it out!

Thank you again to all for steering me to two superb music and links sites. I truly apologize for any identities unveiled; this is august company indeed. I am only too happy to have contributed as a guest in the $ vein, as my participation is usually on the request end. Thanks again. Sheila
