Anyone know of one and the name and address? My daughter's so played there a short time ago but she can't remember the name of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mikey -- There are only two pubs in Portsmouth that have music sessions. Jack Quigley's on State Street has music on Tuesday and Sunday. The Press Room on Daniel Street has Friday sessions that I have been hosting for nearly twenty years.

If you give me your daughter's so's name, I should be able to pin it down for you -- Tom

was on a saturday, so she says, and he (seth i think his name is) can't remember...i'm sure now it was jack quigley's.
i'm visiting this weekend and thought i'd stop in on sunday to have a look around. thank's for ringing a bell.

If you're going to be around this weekend, stop by the Press Room tomorrow. The session starts around 4:30 and runs till nearly 9:00; and while there, you can meet Rocky who hosts the Quigley sessions -- Tom
