Well we did it, we had a fine little tour and pulled it off. Minstrel banjo player Mark Gardner, classical banjo player Clarke Buehling and myself played at several venues this past week and weekend. We played to a record breaking crowd of 250 at the Rockledge Ranch in Colorado Springs on Thursday. We played at the Denver Folklore Center on Saturday. Here is a website about it:

We played to a packed, sold-out crowd at The Fort in Morrison on Sunday and then wrapped up with a show at Avogadro's Number in Ft. Collins last night. I got Clarke to airport this morning and he is
winging his way home to Arkansas. Mark and I are already planning our gig at the Raton Museum in New Mexico this weekend. And then some other friends and myself will be playing at the Sweet Fanny Adams Irish pub at Mooredale, west of Bailey Colorado this Sunday.
For those that are interested in the CD that Mark and I made, check here for sound clips and reviews.

I hope to see some of you somewhere on the road. Adios,

Rex

Well Kat, we usually hit museums historical societies and historic sites. If something like that comes to mind, I would appreciate any suggestions that you have. I would like to come out your and way and see you again. While I'm here, I see that my links didn't work so I'll try to load them again.
Our show on the 23rd at the Denver Folklore Center.

Mark and I had a fine show at the Raton Museum in Raton NM on Saturday. On Sunday some friends joined for a rousing time at Sweet Fanny Adams, an irish pub west of Bailey CO.

The Guinness and fine whiskeys were flowing freely. For folks in the Denver area, you should come check out this place.
Fiddler Marianne Gibbs will join me this Sunday at the Four Mile Historic Park in Denver.

Come see us,

Rex

Whoops! Sorry Sorch, I didn't think that Ft. Collins was in the neighborhood for you. I guess it isn't that far. I did post it on the Mudcat but next time I'm up there, I'll let you know directly. How goes the fiddling?

Rex
