I'm looking for some help from Toronto area 'Catters.
Have any of you heard of a musician called Pat Crossan?
He's originally from Derry, but plays great country parodies.
I've recorded a song of his from an old cassette that someone gave me years ago with no contact info on it, and I'd like to get hold of him for licensing purposes.
I also heard that he sometimes plays around Florida. Thanks.

Seamus

Not this one? "The late Pat Crossan - London & Ballinamore
The death has occurred on Wednesday, 2nd January (suddenly) at his home in Cricklewood, London of Pat (Patsy) Crossan. His funeral takes place this weekend in Cricklewood." From HERE, Wed August 27th 03.

Doesn't sound like the P Crossan Seamus seeks, Susan.

Seamus, are you sure you're not looking for Wendell Ferguson? Now, he does great country parodies. And the name is almost the same, right?

Thanks, Susan, but the fellow I'm looking for was from Derry to the best of my knowledge.
Willie-0, you're right! The names are damn near identical, but Wendell Ferguson (good though he may be at the parodies) is not the Pat Crossan I'm looking for, either.

I could have sworn it was Wendell Ferguson too. But if it's not Wendell, then could it be Kate Crossan of Toronto who is now living in Derry? She doesn't do parodies so far as I know and she's not a he but she is a Crossan and that's not bad.

bw, Kate may well be related to Pat. Do you have any contact info?
And it's eminently possible that the song I'm recording was written by Wendell and recorded by Pat, so I'll contact Wendell and ask him, if you have that info too.
Thanks a million for the help, guys and gal.

Hi Seamus. I haven't talked to Pat in a long time, so no address or phone. Get in touch with Frankie Benson who has an Irish radio show here,,,,he'll know Pat's whereabouts. Or Bill Craig, or Jonathin Lynn....shit I've played with them all!

Rick

Trust Rick to know him!

Sorry I don't know more information about Kate in Derry.

Rick, you're a genius! Thanks. I'm nearly finished the Kenneth Williams Diaries, and will get it back to you ASAP. Thanks again.
