A friend of mine who lives in Reno would like to find a session somewhere in the vicinity. I was hoping that, perhaps, someone here might know something about the matter. She would prefer an Irish session, but if one is not available, it is not necessary that it be Irish.

here are a few links

there is a music festival twice yearly in yosemite area
there is an irish session camp next to ours that plays
24-7 (it seems) for both spring and fall strawberry music fest

also you might find open mike events in the quincy area
which is just a bit west of reno.
