When I first heard this song on Highland Radio, I had to check the listing because it sounded so much like, you, Big Mick, and you, Seamus! Definitely would fit in with some of your other songs AND suit your voices, well, imo.

Anyway, if anyone has the lyrics I be grateful. If you'd like to give a listen, there is a file at this site. Scroll down a bit; the colours are terrible, but if you look closely, you'll see it.

Thanks!

kat

P.S. forgot to say it is sung by Barleyjuice on their "Another Round" album.

Here's the actual link for the Real audio file of it: What's Up Yours.

M3U file (MP3), not Real Audio, but Real Player works. (And that bit on the page about "You need to be registered to MP3.com..." - I don't recall registering (who knows - I might have), but I can listen.

It's "Follow Me Up To Carlow," and various tunes (including something Swallowtail Jig-ish like Mick & Conklin Ceili Band do) in the breaks. Funny song. I'm reminded of the current credit card commercials seen on US TV: "What's in YOUR wallet!!??"

I just have to say this, but that web page is frustrating. Can't get samples without jumping through hoops, and there's hardly any information on who this guy (or Barleyjuice) is. I might have developed an interest, but it's not a site for people who aren't already familiar with the artist.

Thanks for the identifying info, Jeri. I agree about the website. I also did not have to register in order to listen to the song. I'll try to find more info on the band, today.

Here ya go, their website, though it looks almost as funky as the other one. They seem to have a penchant for black background and red lettering. Also, some of the pages are empty, so maybe they've just started the site. I see they will be playing in Bristol, PA.
