Subject: Tech: Cakewalk-Sonar 2xl From: harpmaker Date: 14 Jan 04 - 05:25 PM Iam having a few problems with this studio, and could do with a little help. So, Ive got the tracks layed down, and the levels are ok, and fx ok, so I want to save the whole lot to one sterio file so I can burn it to CD. (My old Vegas pro studio, I just saved to a wav file, and that was it!) But not on Sonic, the only way I can find to get it to work is to "Bounce to track" Then delete the original tracks!! It works, but it is not right. The "help" thing, may aswell be in Chineese! Thanks, harpy. |

There is a button on the main mixer panel that says 'Mix to' and you have the option of another track or to a file. If you select file, your tracks and the mix settings are exported to a stereo wave file. Maybe if you searched your help for wave file, exporting to file, etc. maybe you can find what you need. This is very easy in GTPro, it's got to be fairly simple in Sonar. |
