Australian John Williamson, along with Pixie Jenkins and Warren H. Williams are doing a VERY short tour in the USA. On Feb. 3rd they will be in Laguna Beach, California at the Australian Center. On Feb. 7th they will appear in Springfield, Missouri, at Hammon's Hall on the campus of Southwest Missouri State University. Then they go back home to Australia! They are doing the "True Blue Two Tour". John puts on a fantastic performance, and Pixie and Warren compliment him superbly with their back-up vocals and instruments, as well as being great soloists in their own right. This is a great chance to see three of Australia's best all at one time and to sample Australian country music.

Just had that in mind this morning. I've been thinking about going up. Now if he had brought Sara Storer along . . . I KNOW I would be going!

That Golden Guitar count below is likely off now, as he and Sara just gathered in a couple more for "Raining On The Plains." For Sara, the total was seven, a new record.

SPRINGFIELD -- Australian singer/songwriter John Williamson,
winner of 18 Golden Guitar awards in his native country, is bringing his
music of the outback to Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts
at 8 p.m. Feb. 7.
Williamson will be joined onstage by his "Mates on the Road,"
fiddle-player Pixie Jenkins and singer/songwriter Warren H. Williams, a
member of the Arrernte Aboriginal tribe.
Tickets are $24 for adults and $18 for children and may be
purchased at (417) 836-SMSU; out-of-town 1-888-4-SMS-TIX; and Missouri
message relay 1-800-735-2966. Box office hours are from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Monday through Friday at all locations and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday
at Juanita K. Hammons Hall only. Tickets are also available online at
http://www.hammonshall.com.

Sure wish they would come up to Montreal Canada.
Have three of John's tapes.
Great great stuff.
