John Hurt's grandchildren

Ecouraged by my answers to the Pete Seeger geneology question, I will push my luck further and ask a harder question. Mississippi John and Jessie Hurt were raising two grandchildren at the time he was re-discovered in the 60s.

Did either of them go into music?

Thanks for the answer here and on the other thread. Nice website although I'd love more info (if you had 50 pages, I'd want more). We have quite a few MJH fans around here so as I said, thanks for checking in and finding a place to put this information.

Sadly, our good friend Murray who started this thread is no longer with us but has hopefully had a chance to talk with MJH on his own in their "new location." Murray passed away a couple of years ago and for any of you interested in the valued input of our Australian friend and how much he was thought of here at Mudcat, Click Here.
