Does the Dog & Partridge folk club run year round? I plan to make a trip over in May (My dad lives on Hurst Lane) and I wouldn't mind sharing some of the great Montreal tunes I've been learning on my new concertina and maybe a whistle tune or too to boot.

If yu've got t=Montreal concertina tunes, please get in touch. We're not far from Macc and regularly play in the Cotton Tree in Bollington. Would love to swap a few tunes. Where do you learn Montreal tunes, by the way. Montreal? Sounds great, and we may be there in October.

Been living here in Montreal for quite a while now but only just got a concertina at Christmas. I've found there is a musicians session almost every day of the week in Montreal. There is a great tune writer called Jean Duval who's a local here. I'm still trying to get my hands on his book of tunes but if you're into abc here's one called the Halloween Jig.

Is there anything on at Harrington Arms?

I'd heard that they stage Irish sessions but not sure what day of the week or how frequently?
