I just want to wish you all the best for your concert on the 6th. I spent 3 very happy years in Poulton le Fylde - teacher training in your college there, and always think of Poulton Le Fylde with a smile. By the way I'm Maura (cordstranglers wife) im just using his computer.

Maura,

Thanks for the best wishes - ahhhhhhh   Poulton College... spent a lot of time there at the folk club back in the 60's and 70's in fact I met my first (and second!) wife there - when it closed I had to stick with my second as the supply had run out :-)

Ticket sales have been brisk for the concert, this being the third the first we organised with Brian for the church, we were arranging another with him when he died so we went ahead and split the profits with the church and St Patrick's lifeboat (who tried to save Brian) this year the profits will all go to the Church.

take care

Pete

Great night - just a quick thank you to everyone who played and to everyone who came along - a good night was had by all.

see you all next year - hopefully..

from what was said a quick count up shows that over £300 was raised for the Church roof.
