I'm looking for the words to this song, sung by Dave in the late 60's.
The chorus goes;
Oh, What in the world is this world coming to?
You cannot trust others like you used to do,
They lie, rob and cheat you, and put you to shame,
They've no morals at all, and they won't play the game.

one verse includes the lines,
'It was all me own stuff, I'd been dipped, turn about'

Never heard the song, but wasn't Dave in the police force at one time ?

Yes, he was. The song has been asked for once before here, but without success; apparently Dave couldn't remember it himself.

When I once wanted info on his songs I contacted the man himself. The contact page from his website is Here and has a phone-number (though it evidently hasn't been updated for some while and you'll have to insert a "1" in it). He's an approachable guy and I'm sure won't mind you contacting him.

Thanks guys, I've already tried Dave, and he can't remember it himself!
Any other ideas?
