Just heard,18:00 hrs Roy Harris's gig at the Bothy tonight has been cancelled due to a cancelled train. Sorry to any who were making a special journey. Come anyway and give us a song.

Shame you didnt come and see him at Maidenhead on Thursday. And the Government still says we should NOT use our cars but use Public Transport !!!

Roy is still angry about this. No warning when buying advance tickets that there might be a problem. No announcement at the station, no sign of any form of apology. He sends apologies of his own to anyone who went there especially to see him, but knowing the Bothy club, he is pretty sure that a good time was had by all anyway. The date is being rescheduled. Future dates, March 20th Spring Sing, Ripponden, Yorks. March 30th Great Knight folk club, Northampton. April 9-12th Lancaster Maritime Festival. April 20th Chichester folk club. The Chichester date marks the end of Roy's '70th Birthday Tour'and of his full time touring. After that, club gigs a short distance from Cardiff only, the occasional UK festival, and some USA and Australia dates still to be confirmed.
