Subject: Selling Irish Broadsides From: GUEST,deborah.robins@sbcglobal.net Date: 30 Mar 04 - 04:14 PM Does anyone know of whom might be interested in the purchase of a collection of about 30 original Irish Broadsides from the 19th century, published by P. Brereton, Dublin? They are in VG condition and deserve a good home, but I think they may be valuable as well. Any ideas? |

Subject: RE: Selling Irish Broadsides From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 30 Mar 04 - 05:15 PM Recently, a collection of 18 Irish 19th c. broadsides by Brereton was sold at a Dominic-Winter auction for 420 pounds. See lot 508, Jan 2004 D-W catalogue This is the easiest way to sell. Let a reputable auction house handle it; but check their commission. An adv. in the London Times, and one in the leading Irish paper, may get you a better price. |
