Subject: Rochester Sweeps(UK)1/3 May 2004-Request From: harlowpoet Date: 20 Apr 04 - 08:23 AM I bumped into Mcgrath of Harlow in Wetherspoons this morming and he suggested I post this request on Mudcat so here goes. I'm doing a gig or three at the Sweeps this year.Small problem is that I slipped a disc in my back a few weeks ago and don't really want to camp at the minute if I can help it, as its still a bit painful. Rang a few guest houses in the area, but are all booked up, which is not surprising, as its a popular event. I'm going to be there regardless, but is anyone in the area able to offer a couple of nights accomodation for the Saturday/Sunday night? A sofa or a floor would do. This would save me having to hike a tent around. If you can help, PM me or email harlowpoet@yahoo.co.uk Thanks Simon |

Subject: RE: Rochester Sweeps(UK)1/3 May 2004-Request From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 20 Apr 04 - 11:42 AM That's quick, Simon. I hope you get bedded down! Here is a link to info about Rochester Sweeps, with some photos. None of Simon though! I gather it's a pretty good way to welcome in the May, even aside from the opportunity to hear harlowpoet in action. |

Subject: RE: Rochester Sweeps(UK)1/3 May 2004-Request From: GUEST,harlowpoet Date: 21 Apr 04 - 04:56 PM Richard I seem to be having a technical problem with sending PM's, although I've received yours. It may be a computer problem. I'll PM from my dads computer tomorrow, though the answers yes if that will be OK. Dave Bryant and Mcgrath of Harlow, who are mates will both vouch for my character. Simon, I think you and Richard have met at our BBQs anyway. |
