Quicksilver, alias Hilary Spencer (Artisan, Mrs Ackroyd Band, solo artist) and Grant Baynham (Excellent singer/songwriter who came to fame on Esther Rantzen's 'That's Life') will be appearing at the Waltham Abbey Folk Club this Monday, 17th May.

The club meets weekly on Mondays at the Royal British Legion, Brooker Street, Waltham Abbey, Essex (just off Junction 26 of the M25)and welcomes all performers and audience with a friendly word and the offer of a raffle ticket or two.

They've done well on the merchandising front with all them sweatshirts

no promises but

apparently it was Mary Mellor aka Middleton -pollock [now defunct] that acted as their 'match-maker'

not a lot of folk know that.

They are extremely good.

If the decree absolute comes thru in time I'll be there

any chance of a/an f-spot please?

Wish I could get along to see Quicksilver (not to mention Breezy & his newG7), but alas it's too far from home. Saw them at Upton, Fantastic stuff, wonderful performers, do go to see them if you can!!
