Subject: RE: Folk Clubs in Keswick in the Lakes From: GUEST,janey Date: 18 May 04 - 04:06 PM not a folk club this...but a couple ( i have forgotten their name) play in a pub next to woolworths in the town moot square on either fridays or saturdays. they do great cover versions and are excellent musicians. they have q a following and the atmosphere is good in there. sorry i can't help any more; i think his name is john, the pub has photos of race horses on the walls. as for folk nights, i'm sure there used to be a wed night one at the hotel in the market place. oh well at least i tried to help... |
