The Witches of Elswick are 'playing' Sherringham Little Theatre on Saturday night (22nd May) and I've just had a call from the theatre saying tickets are going slowly...

Oh yes - there's a good point.

We have just had our own knickers printed. Only availiable from us in person or the Cumberland Arms in Newcastle so you have to come - just to get your pants!

transport from washington DC might be a problem, unless you can get to Washington, Tyne and Wear, we'll be driving through there!!

While I've just been on elsewhere making a humble recomendation for one chap, thought I'd add me tuppence worth here too.

Tickets going slowly? Come on Norfolk - turn out in droves!
Ne'er mind the knickers and any other such nonsense...
Them Witches are a class four-piece vocal outfit - with a good line in tween-songs patter.
Nowt else needed. Worth anybody's coin. A must see!

They were so fab at Oxford folk festival I bought their CD. Great and challenging harmony singing, great stage presence and patter with the audience. Go see 'em you residents of Norfolk or be labelled bumpkins forever! Oh, and come back to Oxford soon gels!

I'll be in Oxford (FC) on the 25th June playing guitar for Oz's Margaret Walters....an' this tall chap that played fiddle at Otley recently said he'd likely pop along wi' some chums 'cause he had some days orf. Said there'd be a room for us in a pub nearby if needed (which aint neccessary - but ta!). You wouldn't be around at the time yersel would ya?
