I know there are occasional threads seeking songs about this, that or the other thing, including foods. I'm sitting here nearly slobbering as I write, having just taken one large and three smaller lasagnas out of the oven. Just one of those proverbial wild hairs - had a bit of this and that about the place when hunger and inspiration struck. If it tastes half as good as it smells it will be a smash hit. I make the brash presumption that others have had the same experience, and got to wondering if any 'catters know of a tune or song particularly associated lasagna, even if only as a family tradition. Now I need to dash off to the store to be sure I have some cold porter to wash it down. It'll probably take an hour or so to cool down.

If ever there was an under-appreciated artist, it has to be "Wierd Al." Quality irreverance, a slightly off-beat sense of humor, and a good musician to boot. It's great song, Alison. Thanks. I had one of the small ones last night, then my youngest son and a pal came in about 11:30 and there went the other two small ones, plus a 4-pack of teh black stuff. Ah, for the simple joys of life.
