Attention anyone who can hear Ireland's RTE radio. On Friday July 9th watch out for Colum Sands on Rootin' Around at 10.02 pm BST on satellite or web I t should be good

Failing that, you can always catch his regular Saturday show (10pm-midnight) on BBC Radio Ulster. Either listen live online, or by using the Beeb's listen-again facility which keeps many shows, including Colum's, on the website for one week after broadcast. No time to do a clicky now, but choose either option by going to www.bbc.co.uk >> radio >> local stations >> Radio Ulster.

Oh, and he's on at Warwick Folk Festival (sets on all three nights, I think), 23-35 July.

rats. I thought you were talking about the sister Ann (Anne?) Sands. I saw them when most of them were teenagers..she sang like an angel. I hear she still sings. mg

Sands Family still perform together at festivals this year in Ballyshannon late JUly
