At long last I've upped sticks and made it to a ruin in Ceredigion where nearly every waking hour is spent up to my knees in mud, slate and lime. But all work and no play...
So does anyone know of any clubs or sessions within a 30-mile radius of Cardigan that would welcome, ar at least tolerate, a non-Welsh speaking singer and box player with a repertoire that (at the moment) is largely English?

There has been one at the Wynnstay in Machynlleth - can't think which night. It ran foul of Licencing laws and I don't know if they've sorted anything out.

There are two music pubs in Aberystwyth - The Coopers Arms and the one in Bridge Street the name of which I forget. I think there are possibly more.

There's a music shop in Cardigan that has a lot of notices up inside the door which you have probably already found.

And there's the Tues. night session in Fishguard at the Royal Oak. Mostly Irish.

Unfortunately, there are very few Welsh Trad sessions, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about the English. Get in touch with me and I can let you know about workshops and things as they arise.
