Subject: Chorlton Folk Club, Manchester, UK From: Les in Chorlton Date: 13 Jul 04 - 02:10 PM The club has been going for nearly 2 years now. We intend to run every Thursday, right through the Summer. Every night will be a Singers Night and entry is £1. We meet at South West Manchester Cricket Club, Ellesmere Road, off Wilbraham Road, Chorlton, Manchester. Guest Nights have been £2 for local guests and a bit more when it's somebody a bit special. Tom Paley is coming near the end of August. More details of him later. Singers and muscians always get a spot. Sometimes we have so many things go on a bit late. |
