Hi folks! I'm doing a research in school about Irish folkmusic to open my classmates' eyes to this great music. If you have written anything you think would be useful for me, just post it here or mail it to me:

arro@home.se

Please don't post any rubbish stuff. Everything on history, common influenses or great bands is warmly welcome.

Thank you

You may also want to open your classmates' *ears* to Irish music. I have about 130 Irish midi files covering everything from Carolan's ancient harp tunes to rockin' fiddle tunes. Even if you don't use them for your project, they may help you yourself gain a greater appreciation of the wealth of Irish traditional music... http://www3.islandnet.com/~btaylor/irshmidi.htm

Cheers!

Barry : I would like to thank you for all the hard work you have put into your site. I have found it to be very useful indeed and would give it my hearty recommendation.

It certainly is't rubbish! I am bit hurt to think that anyone would expect rubbish from contributors to the Mudcat. You could always try posting to Rec Music.Celtic.
