Planxty are playing a series of gigs in London on January 29, 30 and 31 2005.

The Barbican are currently taking bookings for the concerts.

Good news indeed!!!!!! I was at the last concert they played in England more than twenty years ago.

Book up early all you folkies in London, this is one concert that will live in your memory, I seen their come-back show in Dublin and just had to buy the CD, they are the cream.

What you'd want it to be - Christy Moore, Liam Og, Andy Irvine and Donal Lunny. No doubt one or two guests on the nights.

Would love to see them live. We had Donal Lunny over here a couple of months back and he was superb, along with Mary Black and Cara Dillon.

Bought a copy of the Planxty Live 2004 album and it is superb.

It's looking like a sell-out: There's only about a quarter of the seats left for Saturday, when I am going and the other nights are nearly as full.
