Subject: RE: LYR. REQ. Going Back to Harlan From: jo taylor Date: 30 Oct 98 - 07:54 PM Dear Tim Thank you for your reply to my request. Unfortunately I don't have the CD. Here in rural France there are no shops selling wonderful music apart from a few CD's of the recent enthusiasm for Quebecois music - there are a few bands around here doing that. I saw K&A McG on a British TV programme performing this song and also a few days later on UK radio and was fascinated by it. Do you think you could possibly write it out for me, I would appreciate that so much. Itried to email you but it came back undeliverd. thanks - jo alanjo.taylor@wanadoo.fr

Subject: RE: LYR. REQ. Going Back to Harlan From: Tim Jaques tjaques@netcom.ca Date: 02 Nov 98 - 06:57 PM It's on the CD "Matapedia". On the title track they seem to have the Matapedia River flowing in the wrong direction, given that it is unlikely that Kate ever lived in Dalhousie, NB. I'm sure I would have known of it. You can find the CD at http://www.bpm.on.ca, with which I have no connection. |
