Here're some big and very very good festivals: Amarillo here Dallas here Fort Worth here Austin here Corpus Christi here Midland here Most of the big towns have local/regional organizations, most have weekly sessions, and live performances ... The Southwest Celic Music Association's site (noted above) is excellent - here again is the link to it SCMA. Look through it, you'll find performers listed from towns all over Texas, plus contact info for them. You'll also find venues listed, and contact info - and there's a large and valuable list of links on the SCMA site too ... happy hunting ... come back with specific questions, if ya got 'em ... |
