Halló all , I am going to hospital for a few days , a surgery i hope my spelling is Okei, so I will need a little prayers in the air, over the Atlantic sea
for a while, anyway I have to get up soon I am playing on Saturday
so I will be possitive then it will be okei.

The age is also right for a hysterectomy - you WILL NOT be playing.
The surgery could also be vasectomy - you will be playing.
The surgery could also be a tonselectomy - you WILL NOT me playing.
The surgery could calso be a - a Morton's toe adjustment - you will play.
The surgery also be a gall-bladder removal - You WILL NOT be playing.

If you have genereal anesthesia - your coordination will be screwed up for close to a month. Don't rush it....it will return.

Don't you do anything foolish, you hear? Take care of yourself and be well -- music will help the healing, but don't rush it. Any cut into the body is an invasion, and you will need healing time.

Good luck Skarpi - I promise I won't let that Nurse Ratched near you! And give some thought to what Gargoyle said about general anaesthetics - they can affect you for some time afterwards - I know from experience - so give yourself plenty of time to feel normal again.

Halló all I am back from the hospital,it went well, fingers crossed.
About the this playing ... áaaaaaaaaatshhhh, damm it hurts ? just
the cut it hurts a little bit.
I am just gonna sit down and play three-five songs on Saturday , but I will not do it, if it still hurts .

Halló all ,I found the word for I got, it is called hernia or rupture
and the worst think about this is that when it happen I felt it .
So today I have some pain but it will get better day by day and when I think about other people that more illness than i have my pain goes away.
I´ll be playing on Saturday,MMario I am going to Portaferry in February and who knows , where are you gonna have the Getaway
??

Skarpi - the FSGW getaway is held in Darlngton Maryland in mid to late October. the 2004 event was last weekend. there is a great deal of information about it here at the mudcat and links to the host organization (Folk Society of Greater Washington)

You should come to Canada to get the op done. The Shouldice Hospital in Toronto is the worlds best, hernia op's is al they do. They actually walk you away from the operating table after the surgery. you are as good as new in about three days.

I'm glad it was nothing worse, Skarpi...I had one hernia repaired when I was 11 years old, and they still use ether for anasthesia and stiches that had to be removed. Was in hospital for a week.
Then another 24 years ago and it was one day and out!

I hope yours is quick to heal...NO ski jumping for awhile...*smile*
