Subject: Irish Rovers lyrics wanted: From: Jennifer Burdoo Date: 12 Nov 98 - 04:45 AM This is from a more recent CD, all I can remember is that it was red with photos on the cover and only about a dozen songs on the album. Chorus goes something like: One for the morning glory Two for the early dew Three for the man who was sent his route (??) and Four for the love of you, me girl Four for the love of you Yet another one where the ould Celts' accent is tripping me up! Thanks, Jennifer |

Can't believe my good luck, finding your thread - my son & I have been arguing over that song's 2nd line, in chorus. I say"2 for the early dew" - my Irish - songs loving 19yr. old insists it's "2 for the early HUE" - which is it? We have it on an old Clancy Bros. record. (Paddy Clancy, RIP) Where did you finally find the lyrics? Thanks for your help!! |
