hey does anyone know the lyrics for the song "one of us".i think thats what its called..the only words i know are -
"what if God was one of us, just a slop like one if us. just a stranger on a bus trying to make his way home". ive tried loads of websites but no one seems to know it! any help would be much appreciated lotsa love...me :-)

It comes up on lots of sites. Here's one of them Joan Osborne - What If God Was One Of Us. You can refuse the ActiveX control and the cookies and still get the words. There are plenty of other sites that come up in a web search for +"what if god was one of us"+lyrics.

Hehehehe... I always knew God was a toker.

I loved the original when it came out, i must have been in primary school. Picture the scene- Small, very Protestant, very masonic, very Rangers village- And there's this little kid pottering about singing 'What if God was one of us?'....
