Subject: Clive Gregson - Tour and CD From: The Beast of Farlington Date: 16 Nov 04 - 10:58 AM Are any of you Mudcatters fans of Clive Gregson (ex Any Trouble, Richard Thompson Band, Gregson and Collister)? Any of you seen him on his current British tour? If so, can you provide a review? If you are a fan, or even if you are not, if you love simple songs played beautifully on acoustic guitar and piano, get your hands on his latest album 'Long Story Short' now available on Fellside Recordings. I am not his publicist, just an admirer! |
Subject: RE: Clive Gregson - Tour and CD From: michaelr Date: 16 Nov 04 - 07:50 PM I love the man, though it seems, IMO, that he did his best writing in the 80s. Saw him with CC several times, both of them with the Richard Thompson band, and solo a couple of years ago. Good show. I wish he was still working with CC. That duo was pure magic. Cheers, Michael |
