Subject: Metal thumb pick issue From: Chris Amos Date: 03 Dec 04 - 12:00 PM Has Jim Dunlop stopped making metal thumb picks? I have asked in many music shops in East London, Essex and north Kent, all had run out. I don't seem to be able to find anyone selling them on line. Can anyone help, I couldn't stand the thought of going back to plastic ones again. Chris |

Subject: RE: Metal thumb pick issue From: Strollin' Johnny Date: 04 Dec 04 - 03:23 AM Look on Elderly Instruments site (they're in the US) or, preferably, Highly Strung (who are in the UK). Sorry, my IT expertise doesn't extend to making blickies, just search on the name. S:0) |

Subject: RE: Metal thumb pick issue From: Pete Jennings Date: 04 Dec 04 - 12:02 PM Try Pete at pjmusic.co.uk. He lists metal fingerpicks under Accessories / Miscelaneous. He can normally get hold of anything if it's available and, when A.N.O & Co stopped importing Steve Knightly's favourite triangular flaticks, PJ started to import them himself! Great guy and, no, it ain't me. (the other) Pete |
