Subject: Dead Egyptian Chords
From: Mooseguy
Date: 13 Dec 04 - 01:00 PM

Hi all,
I have just re-signed as a member here, it's been long enough since my last visit that I managed to forget my old information. I am hoping that someone can direct me to the chords for Michael Smith's "Dead Egyptian Blues". My friend and I are trying to work it up and it seems to be beyond our capabilities. We do have the lyrics.
Thanks in advance,
M

Couldn't find the chords, even when I googled it, but this older thread lists a reference for it. It's on a CD called "Michael Smith Love Stories." If you could find a copy of the CD, perhaps you could suss out the chords by ear......

Google the following:

Craig Robertson Song Lyrics

There is a link there to Robertson's homepage and the remark that anyone wishing to have the chords from his work can contact him and he will provide.

Or you can get the lyrics straight from the horse's own mouth at Michael Smith's Homepage
www.artistsofnote.com/michael
where you can also purchase a song book with the lyrics and chords in it. If you can just pull those chords off Michael's CD then I'm definately impressed.

And a very August "Quack" to Geoff the Duck for the only understandable explanation I've found on how to make external links.
Any bets on if I'll remember it next time? (Don't answer that)
